El Che Records is the record label of the infamous Bay Area sea shanty band the Shark Alley Hobos, multi-instrumentalist songwriter Che Prasad and the catalogue of the late great Mikie Lee Prasad. El Che Records also features singles by special guests artists including New Orleans favorite Alex McMurray!

El Che Records was founded by Che Prasad in 2017 as the Shark Alley Hobos embarked on recording and releasing a series of singles. At a time when the question was raised as to whether the popularity of the group could be waning, Che likes to quote Ian Faith from Spinal Tap: "Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no...no, no, not at all. I, I, I just think that the.. uh.. their appeal is becoming more selective."
